This week has been full of all stages of life. Eryn and Lachlan started back at school. Eryn has a great teacher, but also found out that she job shares for part of the week - so we'll see how that goes! Lachlan finally has a teacher who sets some behaviour boundaries. He is slowly adjusting to not getting his name up on the Sad face column - but I think she'll be great in helping him to read and write well. Morgan is adjusting to being home alone. We are trying to fill the week in with playgroup, swimming, storytime and doing jobs with mummy. Eryn celebrated her 9th birthday and got to have cupcakes at school, cake at home with the family and one of grandpa haynes special cakes. This year it was a type writer. (I'm sure mum with have a picture of it on her blog) I also attended the blessing of my cousin Dianne's baby Calum. It turned out to be a very big family gathering and Grandma Haynes had a picture taken with 8 of her 9.5 great-grandchildren. The day was also taken up with watching the funeral of President Gordon B Hinckley. I appreciated having this televised through the internet and we reminised last night at dinner of when we had each met or seen him during our lives. He had a profound effect on my life through his words and actions. I wonder if next week will be so eventful!
