The Phillips family got into the Halloween spirit very last minute. With costumes created in minutes (a fairy, a bunny and a ghost), biscuits decorated and lollies purchased - we welcomed our first load of trick-or-treaters! They then joined us as we visited Aunty Kara's home and Grandma and Grandpa Haynes. Not only did Auty Kara have treats, but her neighbour noticed the kids and welcomed them to come and select from her array of treats. (Notebooks, pens, lip gloss - as she is a rep for a large company) Grandpa had worked hard on a pumpkin carving, a broom (which Eryn suggested was better than Harry Potters Nova 2000, even though I don't know what that is) and lovely treats. Overall a fun night, considering how little thought we put into it. Despite our treats to hand out, no-one else knocked on our door. Oh, well! More for us!
