Big Change

What a crazy two weeks we've had. Before the jetlag had left we were invited to go and meet with the Stake President at his home. Even though many things go through your mind, my lack of sleep kept me from putting all the pieces together. But when he read out a letter stating that Daniel had been approved by the First Presidency to be the Bishop of the Rochedale Ward - the pieces quickly fell into place. His name was presented to the ward and they sustained him on Sunday, 18th October. Almost immediately I saw a change come over him. I know this will be a wonderful opportunity for him and our family - challenging also, but hopefully we're up to that challenge. Since Dan has still not been able to find a job, he's benefited from a lot of spare time to settle in to this new calliing. It's funny when you think of all the times that we have tried to move out of the Ward boundaries, and yet here we still are. As Dan would say, "I've lived here since I was 10!) Well, were looking forward to the next 5+ years!
