Eliza's Wedding

Yesterday Dan and I were lucky enough to attend the wedding of Eliza & Sterling. Eliza is one of the last of 'my girls' from when I was their Young Women Leader/President. They have all been kind enough to invite me to (nearly) all of their weddings and I feel priveledged that they are all still my good friends all these years later. The Temple Sealing was beautiful and the reception was at 'The old Courthouse' in Cleveland. Going to someone else's wedding sure does take you back to the memories of your own. The whirlwind, fun and excitement of our wedding all those years ago in the Sydney Australia Temple was beautiful. I have noticed that on the outside, a lot has changed in 'Weddings' since ours. The gowns have become more simpler(no more frilly lace!), black seems to be the colour of choice for many bridesmaids and the wedding pictures have definitely become more beautiful. We were just happy to have some photos to remind us of the day (there was an official photographer though), but now they are just soooo artistic. I would love to have mine redone! Congratulations Eliza & Sterling.

Its so funny that you say you would like to have your wedding photos redone. I heard a Hamish and Andy segment on the radio about people who literally redid their wedding photos but because they weren't happy with their original ones. I wonder if Bishop would go for that. :)
