Easter Festivities

Well, it has been a while since I last posted. These are some great things that we did over Easter.
1. My younger brother Andrew came to visit for 1 week. Ofcourse it wasn't long enough. But we enjoyed eating the missed foods that he loves (sausage rolls, pies etc) and spending time with him.
2. Celebrating Eryns belated birthday with a Hannah Montana 3-D movie. 8 girls and 3-D glasses is asking for trouble - but it was actually a lot of fun.
3. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate at EAster. My kids were limited to one Lindt golden bunny (with a bell around his neck) and a few little ones that were left at the door by the Bunny!
4. Eryn spoke at a special Easter musical fireside about what it would be like to be a childhood friend of Jesus Christs.
5. I spoke in Sacrament about the Commemoration of the Relief Society.
6. We spent Easter Friday down at Currumbin with my mums extended family. The McIntosh's. It was great to catch up - but I have to say that I seem to know my Aunts and Uncles better than my cousins on that side. There is a huge age difference and "Hello" was about all that was exchanged in conversation.
7. We weeded a LOT of weeds in our front yard. Found two huge holes near our house and Dan poured petrol and lit a match down each. We waited and waited for something to come out. But nothing did!
8. Waved Andrew off at the Airport and ofcourse wished that we could go with him - and then the kids got to swim in Stephen and Elaine's pool. It was cold, but they are happy because they can now say that they have swum in it!

A great weekend!
