Fun times in Sydney

Recently we spent a fun day riding around Sydney Olympic Park at homebush. There are fantastic bike paths all around the park and so we hired some extra bikes and took to the pavement. Even Addi enjoyed the view from the back.


During the school holidays I took the kids to visit Bare Island, found in Botany Bay and named by the First Fleet. The kids had fun being convicts for the day and learnt a lot about our history.



We also celebrated Morgans 6th birthday. She was lucky enough to have Grandpa come and visit. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of fish and chips at La Perouse for her special day. Unfortunately the evening was cold and rainy, so our visions of eating outside by the water and blowing out the candles on her delicious cupcakes were changed to eating inside the cafe and eating her cupcakes in the car overlooking Botany Bay.
