Yesterday we ventured up to Caboolture to the Kids Medieval Day at the Abbey Museum. Having never been before, we weren't sure what to expect. But it was great fun. The kids participated in work shops such as Gypsy Dancing, Junior Joisting, Jester School, making Princess Hats & Crowns, Pony Rids and Lucet Braiding. But surprise, surprise - the most favourite activity was Stilt Walking. They went back to try it out 3 times! A lot of people had dressed up, and although the outfits were nice, I'm not quite sure I would have enjoyed living in that Era.
