Winter @ Dreamworld

Last night we took the kids to a special laser light show at Dreamworld. Since we have never taken them to Dreamworld, they were very excited and had been promised that some of the rides would still be open and there would be a lot of 'pumped' in snow to play in at a snow wonderland. Well, sorry for the disappointment, but the snow was pretty LAME! However, the light show was really amazing. It had the usual, people dressed up as aborigines, doing a dance about how the 'Southern Cross' came in to existence and then ended with 'Ice, Ice, Baby!'. What variety!! We all got to go on 1 ride in the Nickelodeon area and also had a tube ride down the fake snow hill. It has inspired us to go see some real snow soon, so that we can play in a 'real' Winter Wonderland. All in all, we had fun and the kids are already planning their trip to Dreamworld for REAL!
