Fun at Dreamworld

For Lachlan's 9th birthday we ventured off to Dreamworld. We had a great time and luckily there weren't too many people there. With an itinerary, we set off to do all the scary rides first. Well, not all of them!! We went on the claw and the rollercoaster. Then in Nickelodeon land, we went on the tamer rides like Dodgem Cars, the ride that I remember as the Matterhorn, but is now called something about a Salmon run and the kids went on the Rug Rats rollercoaster. We saw the amazing Tigers, followed by the depressing animal exhibit. There were eagles chained up and dirty water for the other wildlife. Pretty depressing, but on a lighter note, there was no line up for the vintage cars ride, and we were able to get straight on to the Log Ride. This was the highlight for me - I still love that ride. We also visited Wiggles world which was pretty much aimed at very young children - but we all had a go on the 'Big Red Car Ride' and got to sing along with the wiggles. We finished it off with the Thunder Rapids and the kids went on the claw one more time. What a fun day, and we even managed to get some fairy floss on the way out!!

I always remember when we were lucky enough to go as kids. we thought it was so cool and the antique cars and log ride were the hip things back then too. Glad you had such a great time. Did Addison like the log ride? :)
