Last year Santa brought the children an Aquarium all decked out. They then went and chose some fish to put in it. Over time, some died, some jumped out and we replenished the stock. Only one of those died, thankfully! They have been happily swimming around now for some time, but the children have lost interest. They haven't been feeding them, never clean the tank and have left all these jobs for Mum. We made a family decision that we would give them a better home, and last week took them to a beautiful lake not far from where we live. We all hope that they are enjoying their new home!

I'm assuming they were 'ocean fish' and would have enjoyed the fresh water! Good lesson for the kids on responsibility of pet ownership though. I am sure they enjoyed their time with the Phillips family. (Kara - don't get any ideas)
Isn't that illegal! Intorducing a new species into the environment....
Oh, I guess I had a part in the death of the "one"..... too bad they had to find a new home. Good thing you didn't have a dog- letting one of them in the wild when you were done with it might have been interesting. :)
