Living so close to the beach is definitely a plus while we are living in Sydney. We are surrounded by several water/beach pools that the kids are enjoying swimming in. We also visited the 'historical' landing place of Captain Cook. There were no plaques or markers, but according to the street directory he landed right about where the kids are standing in the 'Boat Harbour' photo.

Looks fun! Hard to imagine swimming right now with so much ice/snow around and temperatures in the -10 to -20's :)
