In just two days the kids will be back at school. Since we took off early to go to Tasmania, it has been nearly 4 weeks since I had to do the dreaded 'lunches and school drop off'. The first two weeks were great spent in Tasmania and then Melbourne, but the last two have been plagued with:
a ward split (stressful when you're husband is Bishop), deaths ( an elderly man in our ward died and Dan had to conduct his funeral) and sickness ( Addision had a rash for 4 days, then Morgan had vomitting and a rash for 4 days.) I'm really hoping that Morgan is up to going back to school on Monday!!
But there have been some positives during all that time spent at home with sick kids.
1. I listened to the General Womens session of Conference which was really inspiring.
2. I recieved in the mail the lastest installment of a BBC series 'Lark Rise to Candleford' that Eryn and I are addicted to. I won't tell you how many days it took us to watch the whole series. Because then you'll think that all we did for two days was sit on the couch and watch TV!!!
3. Dan arrived home early from Sydney and suprised us, and even cooked Dinner.
I'm sure life will get back to slow and uneventful pretty soon.....
