My little gardener, musician and writer

This week we attended MUSICFEST to watch Eryn play with her school senior band in her first real music competition. They achieved Silver Level. She played beautifully and it was great that the whole family could come and watch her performance.


Eryn has continued working on her garden. Our next door neighbour, has helped her every step along the way with her project. She currently has pumpkins, tomatoes, lettuces and capsicums growing. We can't wait to eat some of her produce.


This coming week Eryn will be attending writers camp. It is an invitation only camp that is offered to year 6 and 7 students. They have to submit different pieces of work, and then the Qld teachers select which students can attend. She is really looking forward to the opportunity. Published writers come and conduct workshops to help the kids perfect their skills. Well done Eryn!
